Jane Abbey, 79, of Andover, KS, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at home. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 10:00 am Friday, May 19, 2017, at Life Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Andover Cemetery Andover, KS. Jane was born in Leavenworth, KS on November 5, 1937. Her parents were the late Veola (Siebenthaler) and William J. Kropp. She retired as a stock clerk from Beech. On January 5, 1957 she married Robert Dale Abbey in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death. She is survived by: daughters, Linda Abbey of Andover, KS, and Cathy Evans of Wichita, KS; brothers, William Bryant and Norman Bryant; grandchild, Rachael Stonecipher and husband Daniel; great grandchildren, Cassadee and Dawson Stonecipher, and Faith Ellison. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, James Arthur Kropp and brother, Roy Bryant; and sister, Norma Stowell.
