Mr. Floyd Abercrombie of Louisville passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his residence. He was 84.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Louisville Baptist Church. Rev. Don Highland, Pastor Nathan Ziglar and Pastor JoAnn McCray will officiate.

Special music will be provided by Merle Hamm and Lee Benton.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Louisville with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don Abercrombie, Cas Abercrombie, Tommy Beaty, Robert Metts, Derek Sasser, Jonathan Abercrombie.

The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 1 p.m., at the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Abercrombie (Robert) Metts of Eufaula, Donna Leigh Glover of Eufaula, Norma (Tommy) Beaty of Louisville,

One sister, Mary (Larry) Gober of Abbeville, four grandchildren, Jennie Beaty (Derek) Sasser, Jonathan Floyd Abercrombie, Sarah Nicole Beaty, Angela Renae Glover,

4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Abercrombie was the son of the late John Allen Abercrombie and Gertrude McWhorter Abercrombie.

He was in the U.S. Army for 6 years and served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Louisville Baptist Church and was a truck driver during his working years.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice team of Dothan and especially to Jennifer Gomez and Linda Lightner.

Also the family wants to thank Mary McCray Daffin, JoAnn McCray, Sharon Dawkins and Terrika Hill for their tender love and compassionate caregiving.
