Mrs. Adams was one of the early arrivals on the Utah and Northern railroad, coming to Dillon between 1880 and 1889 when it was a tent town and the northern terminus of the railroad.
She came to the United States from England in between 1870 and 1880 and first settled in Lowell, Massachusetts, moving to Dillon shortly thereafter with her husband, John.
Annie and John had the following known children: Mildred 'Millie' Adams, Ethel Adams Covalt, Ann Adams Hathaway, Clara Adams, William Adams and Daniel 'Dan' Adams.
