She had one child, her beloved son, William A. Ramsey of Leawood, Kan. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Andrea; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Golda was born on a ranch near Degraff, Kan., where she was raised as a tomboy, riding fence and helping her father with ranch chores. She received her bachelor of science from what is now Emporia State University. She taught school in Emporia, Kan., and Las Vegas before retirement. During her active retirement, she traveled throughout the world. She was an active sportswoman, rodeo rider and championship bowler. Golda was a woman of great strength and remarkable character, she is missed.
