Ms. Barbara Moore Adams, 77, formerly of Wrightsboro Rd. in Washington, died Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Quiet Oaks Nursing Home in Crawford.

Ms. Adams was born in Taliaferro County and had lived most of her life in Washington. She was the daughter of the late B. H. and Henrietta Buff Moore, and was the widow of Mr. Ray Adams. She worked a number of years in the healthcare industry, and she was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Ms. Adams is survived by two daughters, Beverly Adams Sparling (Kevin), of Pigeon Forge, TN, and Sheila Adams Rogers (Pat), of Warrenton, GA; two sisters, Betty I. Moore, of Quiet Oaks in Crawford, and Jean M. Steed (Bill), of Washington; two grandchildren, Kimberly Rogers and Tiffany Rogers, both of Washington, and one great grandson, Jace Weaver.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Broom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7PM at Hopkins Funeral Home.
