Old-Time Dillon Resident Is Dead
Dillon, Sept. 24 - (Special) - Trangatt (Fred) Ackerman, old-time Dillon resident, passed away Saturday night at the Barrett hospital after a brief illness.
He had been a resident of the city for about 35 years, and was in charge of the mill of the Beaverhead Milling company until it burned two years ago. He owned considerable real estate in the city. He was 73 years of age, having been born in Namslau, Prussia.
No relatives could be located in this country. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
