ABBOTT, Margaret S., 86, of Henrico, passed away on August 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Stanley Abbott; her parents, Mary and Jasper Swink; three brothers, Clyde Swink, Randolph Swink and Ray Swink; and one sister, Elsie Rice. She is survived by her son, Derek Abbott and his wife, Barbara; daughter, Deborah Howell and her husband, Alton Howell; sister, Doris Thomas; sister-in-law, Kathleen Swink; and grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Chiocca; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Margaret was a beloved mother and grandmother, an avid bird watcher and always enjoyed spending time with her family. She retired from Virginia Power in 1991, after nearly 30 years of service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., where funeral services will take place 12 noon on Wednesday at Bliley's- Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va.
