Obituary of Gladys E. Aaron

GREENTOWN - Gladys E. Aaron, 72, Greentown R.R. 2, died early Saturday at her home following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 23, 1896, at Jewell, she was the daughter of Jacob and Adeline Imbler.

She was married to Everett Aaron Nov. 25, 1913 in Kokomo and the couple resided there until 1947 when they moved to Greentown. Mr. Aaron died in 1964.

She had been a member of the Greentown Wesleyan Methodist Church for 22 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jerald (Peggy) Halpen, Rockford, Ill. and Mrs. Joseph E. (Viola) Schmid, Kokomo and two grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Greentown Wesleyan Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Bardsley officiating.

Friends may call at the Pickett Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday. The body will lie in state for one hour preceding the service.

Burial will be in the Galveston Cemetery.
