On October 30th, 2022, Wilbert passed away peacefully at his home in Greeley, CO.
Born December 1,1929 to William and Katherine Aab of Windsor, Colorado. Wilbert grew up during the Great Depression and second World War. He learned the farming business as he worked on the family farm and attended school in Windsor. He married Wilma in 1951.

Wilbert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and upon returning from the Service, he worked as a mechanic where he was recruited into the electrical trade by a loyal customer of the garage. He began his career as a lineman and worked his way up to becoming a Journeyman Electrician.

He was a lifetime member of both the Moose and Elks Lodges of Greeley.

In addition to his son, Wilbert is survived by two grandsons, five great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial, celebration of Wilbert's life and the love his family has for him is planned for viewing on November 8, 2022, at 10:15 am and mass to begin 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic church located at 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley, CO 80205. The service will be followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that people may donate to Charter Healthcare, 3855 Precision Dr, Unit 2, Loveland, CO 80538 in Wilbert's memory. Join the family after the interment for a reception at the Moose Lodge 909, 3456 11th Ave, Evans, CO 80620 from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
