Floyd "Bugg" Abbott, 73, of Bonta Lane died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born Oct. 14, 1925, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Minnie Guinn Abbott Sr.
He was a retired distributor for Toyota and Subaru and a car lot owner, commander of American Legion Post. No. 46. and a member of Junction City Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gilberta May Abbott; and a brother, Clyde Abbott.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Graveside military rites will be performed by American Legion Post 46.
