Katherine 'Katy' Neubert, 90, of St. Paul, formerly of Cloquet, died Sunday in St. Paul Region's Hospital. She was born in 1915 in Lockhart, Texas to Joseph and Josephine Abramowski. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; brothers, Donald, John, Carl, Walter and Raymond Abramowski; and sisters, Stella Goosens, Ann Carrao, Mary Longsyo and Sophie Weronka. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Schelin; grandson, Jerry Schelin; sister, Helen Kaminski; and a stepson, George Neubert; as well as many nieces and nephews. MEMORIAL GATHERING:4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 22, in the Fond du Lac ENP Center at the FDL Tribal Center on Big Lake Road, Cloquet. All friends and relatives are welcome. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
