Egil Aadland, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Aadland was born October 14, 1924 in the township of Skudenes in Karmøy, Norway. He immigrated to the United States in 1948 and became a citizen in 1955. He was a resident of Thor and Eagle Grove for 29 years and Shreveport, Louisiana for the past 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; son, Leif Aadland of Idaho; three daughters: Maureen (Michael) Stohlmeyer of Ames, Renee (Mike) Young of Shreveport, and Jonita Aadland of Florida; grandchildren, Chris Aadland and Heidi Larson of Colorado, Rachel Young and Ross Young of Shreveport.
