DEAL ISLAND — Miss Alma Abbott, 58, of Deal Island, died yesterday at her home after an illness of two years.
Born at Deal Island, she was the daughter of the late William and Virginia Abbott. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church at Deal Island.
Miss Abbott is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mollie Webster; four brothers, John, William, Benjamin and Irvin Abbott, all of Deal Island, and several niece and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the St. John's Methodist Church, with the Rev. Frank Baker, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call tonight after 7 at the Webster Funeral Home, Deal Island.
