He was a resident of Wallace, LA, and a native of St John the Baptist Parish, LA. Survived by 4 sisters: Mrs Zeolide Schexnayder and Miss Simone Abadie both of Wallace, LA, Mrs Alice Braud of Prairieville, LA, and Mrs Eunice Tassin of Brusly, LA: 2 brothers, Robert Abadie of New Orleans, and Lester Abadie of Metairie, LA. Deceased siblings are 2 sisters: Theresa Trosclair and Georgine Powers and 5 brothers: Amedee, Raymond, Ferdinand, Benoit and Clement Abadie. Son of the late Eugene Olide Abadie and Mathilde Songy. Funeral services Tuesday at St John the Baptist Church, Edgard, LA, with interment in the church cemetery.
