Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and was a member of Ijames Baptist Church. She was a great cook and cake maker.
Those left to cherish her memory are five daughters: Annie Appel (Richard) of Winston-Salem; Judy White (Richard) of Emerald Isle; Linda Richardson (Donald) of Clemmons; Jenny Dwiggins (Donnie) of Mocksville and Lisa Durham (Michael) of Mocksville; one brother, Lester Pickett, Jr.; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Adams; two brothers: Aldean Pickett and James Pickett, and one sister, Mildred Simmons.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 14, at Ijames Baptist Church in Mocksville officiated by Rev. Daniel Harmon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
