Tom was born September 30, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Frank and Jewel Bain Aberer.
He married Margaret Ann Good on June 12, 1965, in Mission, they were married for 47 years, Margaret preceded him in death on December 26, 2012
Tom grew up in Kansas City near the Plaza and lived in Overland Park while raising their daughter. In the late 1970’s, he started his own business, Data Scribe, Inc., a computer programming and data management company, and retired from it in 2014.
In the 1980s, Tom and Margaret moved to the Louisburg area, living on the Good family farm. Tom picked up farming and raising cattle, including baling his own hay. He enjoyed living on the farm and being a part of the Louisburg and Drexel, Missouri communities. Along with farming, Tom served on the Louisburg Rural Water District Board. Recently, he organized the Next-Door community outreach effort for his neighborhood.
Over the years, Tom perused a variety of interests. He enjoyed boating and water skiing at Pomme De Terre Lake. While a member of the Middle Creek Riding and Roping Club (Louisburg, KS), he enjoyed riding horses on trail rides and at show-deos. He also enjoyed fixing broken machinery, tinkering with anything mechanical, and welding whatever needed repair.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and his sister, Margo Lewis.
Survivors include his daughter, Krisann Pearce and son in law Evan, two grandsons, Carson and Nolan Pearce all of McLean, Virginia.
