"Lottie, aged about 11 years, passed away after suffering an unknown aliment. She was the daughter of James Simpson and Nancy Louise (Jones) Ackerson. Survivors are relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin and Mr. and Mrs. Sparling. Funeral services were conducted at the McFarland Congregational Church, and burial was in Alma City Cemetery."
