Pete Abbey
LAUREL - Services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home for Charles "Pete" Abbey, 76, of Ellisville, who died Sept. 27, 1988 at Jones County Community Hospital.
The Rev. Ralph Graves will officiate. Interment will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Earl James, Dwight Vick, Terry Abbey, John Robert James, Keith Sumrall and David Flowers.
Mr. Abbey was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Vivian Abbey of Ellisville; one son, Charles Ray Abbey of Haughton, La.; one daughter, Linda Holifield of Laurel; three brothers, W. T. Abbey, Clyde Abbey and Preston Flowers, all of Ellisville; five sisters, Bennie Graham, Annie James, Dona Watson, Aliene Hall and Virgie Lambert, all of Ellisville; and three grandchildren.
