Evangelist Ethel Sue Abner a resident of Booneville , KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8th 2019 at 11:21 PM. She passed peacefully of natural causes at Tennova Medical Center in Powell, TN
Ethel was born to George and Martha Watkins on October 19,1945 in Scott County , IN. One of her main focuses in life was to love the Lord with all her heart and to witness about him no matter where she was. She preached the Gospel most of her life and spent her life taking care of others especially her family and friends.
She was the Mother of eight children and had many grandchildren . She loved her family with a love that was never ending.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, several sisters and brothers as well as three sons, Ricky Rice, Raymond Rice Jr. and Steven Rice and one grandson Jeremy Mcintosh.
Ethel is survived by Kathy (Louie) Howard of Bowling Green KY; Patricia ( Kenny) Turner of Speedwell, TN ; Loretta Goodpaster of Rocky Hill, KY; Ponda Bennett of Smiths Grove, KY. And Brandon Harrison of Booneville, KY.
Ethel is survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Reverend Louie Howard officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service. Ethel will be laid to rest in the Sandlin Cemetery in Booneville, KY.
