Lamar Abernathy died Wednesday at his home in Halls, TN.

He is survived by daughters, Vicki (Mike) Curran and Angie Meeks and one son, Lanny (Judy) Carlton Abernathy. Lamar was preceded in death by his wife Charlene (Bobo) Abernathy; parents, William Lamar and Gladys (Boner) Abernathy and sisters, Annie Mozella Pratt and Mary Neal Pratt.

The funeral will be held 6:00 pm on Friday, May 31 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN. Burial will be in Abernathy Family Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, May 31 from 3 pm until service time at Halls Funeral Home.
