Catherine "Ann" Abell Roby, age 89, of Danville, KY passed away on June 14, 2022. She was a retired Macy's sales associate and expert gardener and homemaker. Ann was known for her poise, style, and love for her family. She was a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church in Lexington, KY. Ann was born on September 25, 1932, Louisville, KY to the late Joseph & Mary Catherine Abell (Ryan). She was also preceded in death by her grandson, J.P. Roby Wright; her sister, Mary Miles; and brothers, Thomas Abell and Joseph Abell. Ann is survived by her daughter & her husband; son & his wife; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings; and a host of family and friends. A funeral Mass will be held at Pax Christi Catholic Church (4001 Victoria Way, Lexington, KY 40515) on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home of the Innocents at 1100 E.
