Primrose is the beloved daughter of Yancey Abbitt and Toyksie Logan, his second wife. She is a sister to Euphrates Abbitt and a half sister to Chancey, Cornis, Nayoma, Boyd, Daniel Clifton, James, Acie, Lettie and C Arine (?) Abbitt. Cornis died in 1913 at age one of rickets. James died at age one month when burned to death at the kitchen stove in January 1919. C Arine(?) died in June 1922 at age 2 months of rickets. Their mother, Martha Jane Trent, had died in 1931 of a post-partum hemorrhage after a miscarriage.
Primrose was born five years later.
Primrose was born with spastic quadriplegia and was admitted to the asylum on 29 Nov 1939. No specific cause of death is mentioned on her death record.
