Angela Rena Baker, of Dixon, was born on June 3, 1955, at Waynesville, a daughter of Luther Jasper and Caroline Jane (Shelton) Alexander, and departed this life at 3:17 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. Angie had attained the age of 64 years, 6 months, and 7 days.
Angie was united in marriage on June 18, 1971, at Dixon, to Danny Dean Baker, and to this union, four children were born.
She loved to knit and crochet, make Christmas ornaments, work in the yard, re-decorate the house, and not to miss her shows unless the St. Louis Cardinals were on. Angie especially loved
Christmas and her kids and grandkids so much she spoiled them with trying to get anything they would ask for. She made outfits for her daughters to pass out for Christmas. Every special day or holiday, Angie wanted everyone around and would decorate the whole house for Christmas. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids with the work they do and wanted everyone to do well. Angie loved God, was always worried about everyone, and wanted to say and do the right things all the time. She and Danny loved to go antiquing, visiting various antique shops, and her home looking like an antique shop as a result.
Those left to mourn the passing of Angie include: Her husband, Danny of the home near Dixon; her children, Terry Dean Baker and special friend, Kim Buschjost, Rolla; Tina Tegart, and husband, John, Rolla; Dustin Baker and wife, Natalie, Republic, and Courtney Nivens and husband, Bradley, Rolla; twelve grandchildren, Regan Baker, Marissa McCall, Nick Robertson, Emily Robertson, Tucker Robertson, Morgan Tegart, Ashley Tegart, Colson Baker, Gracey Nivens, Bentlee Nivens, Cassidy Nivens, and Joel Nivens; two brothers, Jack Alexander and wife, Mary, Springfield; Dariel Alexander and fiancée, Kathleen Creamer, Dixon; one sister, Brenda Aaron, Dixon; one brother-in-law, Bobby Overshon, Dixon; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Alexander and Maxine Alexander, both of Dixon; nephews; neices; and a host of other relatives and friends.
