Lawrence Abner, 52, of Talbert, KY passed away Thursday, November 11,2004 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. The son of the late Clyde and Alberta Morris Abner, he was disabled.
Survivors include his wife Louise Johnson Abner; two daughters Rhoda(Timothy) Jent of Cripton,KY; Patsy (Ledford)Reed of Booneville, KY; two sons Lawrence Abner Jr. (Tonya Couch) of Jackson; Jesse Abner of Talbert,KY; four brothers Edward Abner of Hazard, KY; Teddy Abner of Springfield, KY; Wayne Abner of Austin, IN; Ana Clyde Jr. Abner of Hazard, KY; six sisters Rosetta Sandlin of Columbia; Loretta Gabbard of Austin, IN; Lois Holand of Austin, IN: Joyce Hunter of Albion, IN; Omega Hall of Austin, IN; Brenda Arnett of Austin, IN and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 13, 2004 at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Couch officiating. Burial followed in the Abner Family Cemetery, Talbert, KY. Watts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were family and friends.
