Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by his Parents-Rev. James Everette Aaron and Ruth Parker Aaron; Son-Alpheus Russell Aaron; Sister-Mildred Aaron Blalock.
Al loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his church and church family very much. He was a faithful member of Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church for over 30 years and upon his return to Walker County, of Williams Chapel United Methodist Church of nearly 20 years. He was a retired Army veteran, serving his country in Germany 2 years active duty, and the Army Reserves for 27 years, retiring as a Mater Sargent. He was employed for 34 years with Alabama Power Co. mostly as a lead lineman until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed football, especially his beloved "Crimson Tide", Nascar racing, Sacred Harp and bluegrass music, and working crossword puzzles.
