The family arose early Christmas morning and going to the bed found little Bettie was in a long dreamless sleep. She nursed during the night and showed no signs of illness.
She was 4 months and 15 days of age. The funeral services were held at Lawnville Church the 26th, Rev. E. E. Harvey officiating. Burial in the cemetery near the church.
She leaves to mourn their loss her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Abbott, and one sister; her grandparents on her fathers side, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Abbott and family and on her mothers side. Mr. and Mis. W. H. Marney and family, besides other relatives and friends.
