Mrs. Diane Aboites, 52, of Lake City, Florida, heard her Master's voice, answered His call and transitioned into eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 20th, 2014 at North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville, Florida.
She was born November 5, 1961. The daughter of the late Charlie Byrd and Ada LeNoir in Homerville, Georgia. The family later moved to Lake City, Florida in the year of 1964.
She attended public school in Columbia County, Lake City, Florida.
Sister Diane was a member of Salvation Holiness Church, in Lake City, Florida under the Leadership of Bishop Dr. C. Kenneth Troupe Sr.
Diane enjoyed traveling, and she would travel to the Midwest, the northwest and to Mexico. She resided in Chicago for several years. Her family later returned to Lake City, Florida in 1985. She loved her family, spending time sharing a laugh, the word and prayer with her daughters, son-in-laws and her beloved grandson who was her greatest joy, and he would affectionately call her BooBoo. Diane spent many years caring for her ailing sister Bell until her death.
She had a loving impact on everyone she met, no one was a stranger to her, she was committed to helping those in need. And even opened her home many times to those who were in need of shelter.
She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Bobbie Harrell, Willie Bell King, and Mary Connell LeNoir.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her life, her husband Enrique Aboites of Lake City, Florida. Three loving and devoted daughters, Wykesha Whitfield (Lester) of Lake City, Florida, Twanda Joseph (Indson) of Orlando, Florida, and Kiera Stevenson (Jared) of Macclenny, Florida. One grandson Andrew Martin of Macclenny, Florida. One brother Sammie Singleton of Jacksonville, Florida. Three Aunts; Alberta Young and Louise LeNoir, both of Lake City, Florida and Nellie LeNoir of Valdosta, Georgia. Nephews; Dondia LeNoir of Seattle, Washington, Derrick LeNoir of Gainesville, Florida, Carlis Lindsey and Branden Lindsey both to Lake City, Florida.
Devoted Friends, Barbara Washington and Barney Williams. A special cousin, Melody Fennell. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service for Diane Aboites will be 11:00am Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Salvation Holiness Church, 212 N. E. Jem Street, Lake City, Florida with Bishop Dr. C. Kenneth Troupe Sr., Pastor officiating.
