Rites Thursday for Mrs. Sumrall
ELLISVILLE - Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church for Mrs. Eva Mary Sumrall, 69, of 415 McManus St., Ellisville, who died Tuesday at Jones County Community Hospital in Laurel, following a brief illness.
The Rev. L.C. Stewart and the Rev. Harvey Easterling will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mack Brown Cemetery.
Mrs. Sumrall was a lifelong resident of Jones County and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel S. Sumrall.
Survivors include four sons, Samuel Sumrall, Jr. of Laurel, Jack Edgar Sumrall of Pascagoula, Bill and Bobby Sumrall, both of Ellisville; six daughters, Mrs. Donis Sheppard of Pascagoula, Mrs. Eula Mae Hood, Mrs. Helen Abbey, and Mrs. Billy Jean Norris, all of Ellisville, Mrs. Shirley R. Hemphill of Moss Point and Mrs. Bonnie Spradley of Laurel; one brother, Elva Williamson of Ellisville; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Rayburn of Ellisville and Mrs. Ella Easterling of Richton.
