AAMODT, Carol Lambrecht 72, of Wilson, NC went to be with her Lord on July 23, 2010 in Chapel Hill, NC. Born in Detroit, MI to George and Cara "Tommy" Lambrecht she moved with the family to St. Petersburg in 1943. Carol graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1957 and from Florida State University in 1961 where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and marched with the Florida State Marching Chiefs as a majorette. Carol later earned her Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, taught English and was guidance counselor in the Florida and Kansas school system, she retired in 2002. Carol was predeceased by her husband, John Aamodt and is survived by her daughter Laura Grace (John); brothers, David Lambrecht of Atlanta and Carl Lambrecht of St. Petersburg; three grandchildren, Jesse, Amanda and Melissa; several cousins; nieces and nephews.
