Mrs. Dollie Louise Abbott

Mrs. Dollie Louise Abbott, 77, of Topeka, died Friday, Aug. 3, 1990, at a Topeka nursing home.

Mrs. Abbott was a cook for several years at the Presbyterian Manor here, and earlier she had been a cook at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1912, at Verdery, S.C., the daughter of Joseph and Cora Brown Fisher.

Mrs. Abbott was a member of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
She was married to Ivan Abbott on Feb. 12, 1940, at Eskridge. He died July 5, 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Marian L. Douglas, Topeka; a sister, Mary E. Davis, Topeka; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Burial is pending. Mrs. Abbott will lie in state after 4 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at 2306 Madison.
