Mrs. Audrey Mae Abernathy, 74, Athens, Ala., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at Spry Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Casey Harbin, Warren Glass and Billy McGregor.
Born Nov. 22, 1932, in Limestone County, Ala., Mrs. Abernathy was a member of Market Street Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Lifford D. Abernathy, of Athens, Ala.; daughter, Gwen Holt and husband, Tim, of Florence, Ala.; grandchildren, Jason Holt, of Madison, Ala., Betty Harmon and husband, Stephen, of Killen, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Aubree Holt, of Athens, Ala., Dakota Harmon, of Killen, Ala.; brothers, James (Bud) Clem, of Anderson, Ala., Joe Clem, of Monroe, La.; and sister, Louise Overstreet, of Memphis, Tenn.
