Hazel Mae Abrahamson, 93, passed away on January, 11th, 2021 at the Bethel Lutheran Home in Selma, CA. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Kennebec United Methodist Church in Kennebec, SD. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 11th, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Winner City Cemetery in Winner, SD.
Hazel Mae Abrahamson was born in Pierre, SD to Frank and Amanda Davis on June 13th, 1927. She married Lawrence Dale Abrahamson on June 17th, 1944 and to this union was born 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. They lived for 15 years on a farm south of Kennebec and then became the owner operators of the Kennebec Corner Café for 30 years retiring in 1989.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence and eldest son Lawrence (Larry). Her son Walter (Pete) lives in Hutto Texas, daughter Ila Jean lives in Flint Michigan and son Thomas with wife Debbie are full time RVer's with residence in South Dakota. Hazel spent the last 30 years in California where she passed away at the age of 93 on January 11th, 2021.
