Mrs. Louella Cowart Ables, 61, wife of E.E. Ables of the Heuck's - Little Bahala community, passed away at her home Friday after more than a half year of ill health.
She came originally from Franklin County in the McCall's Creek Concord Church area.
For the past twenty-one years she had lived at Heuck's where she won high esteem and widespread friendship. As long as her health permitted, she taught in the Baptist Sunday School at Little Bahala.
She leaves a devoted family, immediate members of which are, her husband, E.E. Ables, of Heuck's; daughters, Mrs. Grover Williams and Miss Juanita Ables both of New Orleans.
She is mourned by thirteen brothers and sisters, having been one of 17 children born to her parents.
Mrs. Ables funeral was held at Little Bahala Baptist Church Sunday morning, the Rev. Tabb, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Little Bahala cemetery. Beautiful floral offerings marked the tomb.
