SHIRLINE DEXTER, 76 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Grundy, VA.
Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Moscoe and Victoria (Matney) Mullins.
She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and enjoyed taking pictures and spending time with her dogs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dexter; Daughter: Lisia Dexter; Sisters: Agnes Abbott, Dorothy Grusholt and Mildred Mullins; Brothers: Victor Mullins and Billy Mullins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melissa (Tyrone) Vandyke of Grundy, VA; son, Ronnie (Sheila) Dexter of Grundy, VA; Step-Children: Donna (Dennis) Estevao of Rhode Island, Daniel Dexter of Florida and Ricky Dexter of Rhode Island; Brothers: Harold Mullins of Grundy, VA, Tolbert Mullins of Abingdon, VA.
Also, survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for SHIRLINE DEXTER will be conducted Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Clinch Valley Cemetery, Richlands, VA, with Jack Wright officiating with burial to follow.
