Sue Geneive "Genny" Eskew, 79, of Brazil, went to be with the Lord while staying at The Waters of Martinsville, on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, following a lengthy illness.

Genny was born on Feb. 17, 1942, in Hilham, Tenn., the daughter of William A. "Arlie" and Vadie "Olyne" (Dubworth) Abney.

After graduating from high school, she worked as a certified nursing assistant. She married Richard "Rick" Eskew on Nov. 4, 1984.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Arlie and Olyne Abney, son Phillip Webster and sister Anita.

Survivors include her husband, Richard "Rick" Eskew; a sister, Carol Dixon (Merle) of Greencastle; a brother, David Abney of Tennessee; sisters Wilda of and Kathy of Kentucky and Teresa of Tennessee; children Lorrie Stephenson of Indiana and Paula Benedict of Tennessee; as well as nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members.

At this time no services have been chosen. Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home in Brazil.
