Funeral services were held today from the Scandinavian Methodist Church, at 2 o'clock for Halvor Kulseth, 86-year-old Valley City pioneer who died as the result of old age at his home here Monday evening of this week. Services were conducted in Norwegian by Rev. J. Lorentz and in English by Rev. Clarence Framstad. The body was interred in Hillside Cemetery. Deceased arrived in Valley City 35 years ago from Norway. Five years later he returned to his native land and brought back with him his wife and family. besides the widow, he leaves four sons, three daughters, 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. While here he followed his trade as a stone mason. A large number of friends and relatives packed the church to its full capacity.
