Gilbert Hallarn Dies At Barrett Hospital
Gilbert Hennison Hallarn, a resident of this community for the past five years, died at the Barrett hospital last Friday morning after a short illness.
Born June 8, 1880, in New Orleans, he is said by friends to have traveled extensively and had worked at various occupations.
Two sisters, Mrs. Henry Nichols and Mrs. Brown and a nephew, Mr. Kirk, survive him. They arrived in Dillon from their home in Challis, Idaho, for the funeral which was held Saturday morning from the Brundage chapel, the Rev. J. A. Meeke of Grace Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery at Mountain View.
