Felix Nelson, Troy, Succumbs To Cancer

Felix Nelson 45-year-old Troy resident, died at Gritman Memorial Hospital in Moscow early Wednesday morning of cancer. He had been a patient at the hospital since May 7 and at a Spokane hospital prior to that.

Mr. Nelson was born on Jan. 23, 1910, in Troy to Carl Olof Nelson and Ida Augusta Nelson and spent his entire life there. He was married to Nettie Marie Nilson on Jan 1. 1935 in Troy. He was employed as a mechanic.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Charles Nelson serving in the Army in Kentucky; and Bobby and Dennis at home; daughter, Polly Ann Nelson of Troy; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Bachman and Mrs. Harold Milton of Troy; Mrs. Hjalmer Vedig of Spokane and Mrs. Fred Nattrass of Santa Anna, Calif.; and a brother, Hjalmer Nelson of Lewiston Orchards.

Burial will be in the Moscow Cemetery.
