Brenda Jo Sparks Lowe, age 73, of Red Ash, VA, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA following a lengthy illness.
Brenda was born on March 31, 1948 in Richlands, VA and was the daughter of the late William Bill Sparks, Sr. and Christine Lillian Mason Sparks. She was a homemaker and of the holiness faith. She was a lifelong resident of the Red Ash area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Newberry; sister, Ruby Absher; and a brother, William Sparks, Jr. Brenda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Brenda Jo Sparks Lowe will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. David Lowe, Matthew Sparks and Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Christopher Hess, Dakota Hess, Braylon Hess, Justin Dye, Corey Lowe and Matt Deel. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Blankenship, William "Billy" Sparks and Rodney Meadows.
