Carolyn (Keck) Aaronian, 75, of Washington, D.C., passed away on July 16, 2011, in Knoxville, Tennessee, after a long illness.

Preceded in death by husband Dr. Al Aaronian, parents Harrison Keck and Mae Monroe Keck, brothers H.T. Keck, Kenneth Keck, and Glenn Keck, sisters Mildred Cochran and Pauline Collett. Survived by sisters-in-law Elizabeth Duncan Keck and Dorothy Kitts Keck and adoring nieces and nephews.

Born in Maynardville, Tennessee, Carolyn graduated from Horace Maynard High School in 1954. She was a career employee of the Department of Defense in the Pentagon and worked on the White House staff of President Jimmy Carter.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 12 noon at Sevier Heights Baptist Church, 3232 Alcoa Hwy (Choir Entrance). Visitation will precede the service at 11:00 at the church. Light lunch and story telling will follow the service. Nephew Rev. John Collett officiating. Interment will occur on August 25, 1:00 p.m. at the Duncan Family Cemetery in Huntsville, TN. The family extends special thanks to friends in Washington and the staff of Homewood Residency in Knoxville. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home.
