Theresa "Grace" Accomasso, 102, of Sterling, died Friday, April 8, 2022, at Devonshire Acres. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Grace was born December 8, 1919, in Sterling, CO to James and Pauline (Doglio) DeSoto. She had 11 brothers and sisters who preceded her in death.
She was raised in the Sterling area and attended Sanders and Sterling schools and graduated from Sterling High School in 1937.
On September 21, 1947, Grace married Paris "Pert" Accomasso and moved to the Accomasso Family Farm in Atwood, where she was a homemaker. They were married for 52 years when Pert passed away in 1999. Pert and Grace had two children, Elaine and Pary.
