Fara Delores Aaron, 79, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday morning March 3, 2002 in Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
The daughter of Charles Lloyd and Clella Corrine (Coffman) Osborn, she was born March 24, 1922 in Macon County, in a little town north of Callao, Missouri called Dodd. On August 2, 1941 in Hammond, Indiana she ws united in marriage to Harold Aaron and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1994.
Also preceding her in death were her father in 1986, her mother in 1980 and one sister, Beverly Dare in 1942.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis Aaron of Brashear, Missouri, Mark Aaron of California and Duane Aaron of Portage, Indiana; one daughter, Doreen White and husband James of Kirksville, Missouri. four brothers, Lloyd "Buck" Osborn and wife Viva of Kirksville, Missouri, Sidney Osborn and wife Peggy of Brashear, Missouri, Lonnie Osborn and wife Sandy of Brashear, Missouri and Ronnie Osborn and wife Belva of Kirksville, Missouri; one sister, Marlene Lay of Daytona Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Fara attended school at North and South Ward Grade Schools, Barnesville Grade Schol and two years at Ethel High School. In 1939 she moved to Hammond, Indiana with her parents. In 1940 she met her husband Harold and they were married in 1941. Her husband retired and in December of 1981 they moved to Brashear, Missouri.
She was an RSVP Volunteer and attended the Senior Citizens Center in Brashear. She liked to fish, garden and cook and loved animals and bird watching.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 7, 2002 at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in th Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Osborn, Alan Osborn, Terry Osborn, Matt Osborn, Mike Osborn and Casey McKim. Honorary bearer will be Allen Himes.
