MRS, JOSEPHINE C. ABRAHAMSEN
PLAINVILLE -- The funeral for Mrs. Josephine Casey Abrahamsen, 72, Hays, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville, Fathers James Grennan, Ernest Gallagher and Jerome Morgan officating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Abrahamsen died Wednesday at her home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1907, at Zurich, Kan. She was a retired registered nurse and she also worked for 20 years at the Johnson Motor Company, Waukegn, Ill.
She was a member of the Retired Nurses Association, the American Diabetes Association, the American Arthristis Assocation and the Catholic Church.
Surviving are a brother Raymond Casey, Siloam Springs, Ark., and a sister, Mrs Florence Hinkhouse, Hays. Mrs. Abrahamsen's husband preceded her in death.
The rosary will be recitedmat 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Mosher Fueral Home, Plainville, where friends may call.
The family suggests memorials to the Heart Fund.
