Norman "Mike" Brandon, JR, died peacefully at his home surrounded by friends and family. Born in Rocky Mount, NC, "Mike" was a longtime resident of Dare County, working primarily in construction.
He was predeceased by his parents, Norman Judson Brandon, SR and Peggy Hill Brandon and his brothers, John Arthur Brandon and William Herman Brandon.
Surviving are his son, Norman Judson Brandon, III, two sisters, Joannie Brandon and Tina Bateman. "Mike" was also survived by extended family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
A service of remembrance was held at Twiford's Colony Chapel, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. by Rev. Steve Smith.
