Miss Aas was born on March 9, 1890, in Cannon Falls, Minn., to Andrew Arndt Jakobsen Aas and Anna "Ane" Sophie Zachariasdatter Merager. She moved with the family to Silverton, Ore., in 1892 and to Kendrick in 1904.

In 1948 she moved to Spo to be near her sister, Mrs. Mollie Lien, who survives her. Also surviving is Ingvald Aas, of Clarkston.

Services were to be held today at 1 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church on Big Bear Ridge near Kendrick with burial in the churchyard cemetery.
