Mrs. Druesy Bell Adams Myers, age 91 went home to be with her Lord on April 2nd, 2022 after a long battle with dementia.
She was born April 16th, 1930 the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Adams and Elizabeth Worley Adams, and was one of ten children.
She was married to the late Marvin Daniel Myers for 68 years.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by seven brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memories are one sister, Bertha Bennett of Renan; two sons, Danny Wayne Myers and wife Janet of Asheboro North Carolina, son Kenneth Ray Myers and wife Kathie of Harrisburg Pennsylvania; two grandsons Daniel Myers of Winston Salem North Carolina, and Jeremy Myers of Asheboro North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Altavista Memorial Park by the Rev. Mitch Etheridge of Motley Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Finch & Finch Funeral & Cremation, Altavista. The family would like to thank the staff at Runk & Pratt Pearls of Life at Liberty Ridge Memory Care facility and Seven Hills Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness. The family suggests that those wishing to make memorials consider Motley Baptist Church, 152 Perdue Drive, Hurt VA 24563, or a charity of the donor's choice.
