M. Caroline Abbott, 81, died at noon Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home, Fowler, where she had been a patient one year.

She was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Somerset, Ky.

Her marriage was to Charles Reuben Abbott, April 16, 1936, in Somerset. He died Dec. 4, 1992.

Mrs. Abbott had been a resident of Benton County since 1936. She had worked at General Transformer in Fowler, now known as WEN Products, for 25 years, retiring in 1986.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth "Rube" Abbott of Fowler; a brother, Carl Clark of Baker, Texas; and a sister, Lucille Wooldridge of Somerset, Ky; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, a sister.
