Andrew "Clyde" Abney Jr., 64, of Maysville, died Jan. 31, 2011, at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at St. Stephens A.M.E. Zion Church with the Revs. Roscoe Linton and Anna P. Fulcher officiating. Interment followed in White Oak Cemetery.

He was previously a member of White Oak Church and worked as a truck driver in the logging industry.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Lou Jackson Abney of the home; three sons; three daughters; a brother; three sisters; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
