Geneva M. Abbiehl, 90, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Geneva was born on May 14, 1931, to the late Seward Rule and Violet (McGowen) Jones. On October 9, 1949, she married the late Leroy Abbiehl who preceded her in death in 1996. Also preceding her in death is her daughter, Sherry "Cheryl" Wilson; granddaughter, Amanda Abbiehl; sisters, Shirley Stine and Maxine Balsley; and brothers, Lester Sherk, Ronald Sherk and Paul Sherk. She is survived by her son, Brian (Cindy) Abbiehl; grandchildren, Andrew Abbiehl, Chris Lindzy, David Lindzy and Reanna Salazar; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Bill Sherk.

Geneva attended Bremen High School and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Woodland, IN. She retired from Dr. Cline's office in Wyatt, IN. Her favorite hobby was reading. She loved to curl up with a good book.

Visitation will be 2-3 pm on Sunday, January 23rd at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 15697 New Road Mishawaka, IN 46544 with a service to begin at 3 pm. Geneva will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
