Robert "Bob" Aaker. 84, Littleton, CO, passed away after a battle with lung cancer on April 26, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bernita Erbele Aaker, of Larimore, ND; children, Steven (Barbara) Aaker of Morrison, CO amd Kristim (Bill) Flanagan of Houston, TX; grandfather of Mandie Aaker of Denver, CO and Karl Aaker and Phyllis Sinkler of Apache Junction, AZ; also survived by numerous nephews, nieces relatives and friends. Bob was born to Carl and Eina Aaker in Hatton, ND. He graduated high school from Larimore, ND and attended the University of ND, receiving a BS in Geology. He served in the US Army Air Corps in WW11, stationed in England. Bob worked for Conoco for 36 years and enjoyed many hobbies. His family came first, followed by a love for geology, genealogy, music, astronomy, computers and photography.

Private immediate family services were held. Thank you to everyone at Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center for their care. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Heifer International Habitat for Humanity or any charity of choice.

For years, Bob worked on genealogy, and he wrote three books on the Aaker-Johnson families. As more information was found, those beautiful books grew from small to quite large. Bob will be greatly missed by all, and each appreciated his good works !
